Affiliate Disclosure

StackAudit believes in 100% transparency. This page explains how we make money and how it affects (or does not affect) our data.

1. How We Are Funded

StackAudit is a participant in affiliate advertising programs designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to software vendors.

When you click a link on our site (e.g., "Visit Site" or "Get Started") and make a purchase, we may receive a commission from the vendor. This comes at no extra cost to you.

2. The "Audit" Protocol

Our editorial and data teams operate independently of our revenue partnerships. We do not accept payment for positive reviews.

  • We link to tools regardless of whether they pay us a commission.
  • We rank tools based on performance metrics (Price, UI latency, Feature density), not commission rates.
  • We frequently recommend open-source or free alternatives that pay us nothing.

3. Skimlinks & Networks

We use third-party technologies such as Skimlinks to automatically affiliate commercial links depending on the vendor. These networks help us sustain our infrastructure costs without running intrusive display ads or selling user data.

Our Promise

If a tool is bad, we will tell you it is bad, even if they offer the highest commission in the industry. Reliability is our only product.
